Shannon and her husband,
Adrian (Ace) Chandler moved from Manhattan, Ks to Osborne, Ks
and purchased
L & M Liquors in Downs, Ks from
Larry and Marvella Ricketts in 2000.
Ace and Shannon kept the name as
L & M Liquors.
Ace said, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
SUSAN INSKEEP
came to work for Ace and Shannon in 2000.
With Susan's love affair of wine, we began to build
our selection.
Today, our selection of wines
is over 400 strong.
In 2002, " L & M Liquors" became blessed with
ANNA MARIE ZVOLANEK
joining our team.
Her smile and enthusiasm for life is an awesome asset.

Anna Marie's husband,
is our
"artist on staff"
He is truly talented.
By 2003, we had out grown our existing location. Ace and Shannon began planning
the new (current) location.
Jim Collins, Ace and Shannon's good friend,
put in many creative hours. Construction began on the new location in the summer of 2004.
With lots of help from many of our loved ones,
we moved into the new building
Labor Day weekend.
In September 2007, we were devastated with the loss of Shannon's husband, Adrian (Ace) Chandler.
He was diagnosed with ALS ( Lou Grehig's disease)
in the fall of 2005.
Today,
the team of
Shannon, Susan, Anna Marie, Jim and Ami give friendly service,
and a diverse selection
of products at an
affordable price.

In February 2011 we were happy to add to our group,
AMI NAASZ
She is a Downs, Ks native and a mother of two, fun-loving young boys.
With Ami's adventurous attitude, our selection of spirits are sure to increase too.
